Ways you can make this world a brighter, warmer and more compassionate place.
· Start smiling to people that pass you by every day. Make sure you look at them without making judgments but simply enjoy your presence and theirs in this world. We are all various rich souls disguised in different bodies.
· Bring a small gift daily to someone you love. Make sure to think each day what you can bring to someone that you truly love regardless if it's a compliment, a flower or a small souvenir.
· Make at least several good deeds a week. Volunteer in a hospital or for an organization you have great respect for its nonprofit efforts. The meaning it will bring to your life will be priceless.
· Pay attention to your surrounding. Sometimes we can see that someone needs our attention, our compassion or our helping hand when we are able to shut our egos for a while and look around us.
· Ask yourself continuously "how can I contribute to the world?" If your actions and thoughts flourish as a result of asking this question, you will be successful in all you do.
· Get involved in a forum or a support group you feel the closest to its cause. If it's an online forum, you can visit and share your thoughts with the people in this forum. If you had pain in your life that has to do with what these people have to struggle with, helping them will also help you greatly.
· Inspire others you know to be more compassionate towards other people. Avoid listening to negative words or gossip about others. It sends out negative energies not only towards the subject of the gossip but to all those involved in the process.
